Groups

Braintree Area u3a would like to welcome all new and existing members to join our groups.

We would also like to invite any member who has an interest or passion and would like to see a group happen or instigate one themselves, please let the Committee know of your likes or intentions.

If there is a particular group you are interested in please choose from the list below under Groups and click on the group name to see further information. You can send an email by clicking on the 'Enquiry link' for the particular group you are interested in or contact the Groups Co-ordinator.

What groups are available?

Braintree Area u3a has more than 25 groups available covering a range of activities. The list is shown below, alphabetically, by category, by day, or by venue.

How do I join a group?

The annual membership fee gives you access to all groups. Each group is different. Some activities are free, some share costs such as room hire or refreshments, and some activities such as a visit to a local museum or a coach outing are at cost.

To join a group or activity click on the group you are interested shown in the list below and send a message to the Group Leader via the group enquiry link. Alternatively ring the Braintree Area u3a mobile no: 07938982183.

Please remember that as a Group Contact you are only part of your group and not expected to lead it. All members of a group should be involved in how it is organised so don't feel overwhelmed; we are all here to help.
